Die-cast and Gravity-Cast Heaters

Grand Heater Co.,Ltd. , also casts sheath heaters in aluminum and caulks them to aluminum parts. The Company carries out aluminum casting in two ways: die casting (high pressure casting), and gravity casting (low pressure casting).

Features

Bundy heaters (copper-plated steel pipes) are used for casting.
Aluminum-pipe heaters are used for caulking.
Casting surface is beautiful and allows minute processing due to die casting.
Aluminum surface may be painted.

Application examples
Irons, hot plates, steam ovens, rice cookers, humidifiers, and ice makers

Precautions

These heaters may have some pinholes since they are die-cast products.
White rust may form on the surface if the heaters are used in hot, moist conditions.

Features

Precautions

These heaters have coarse surface and are not applicable to minute shape processing, since they are gravity-cast products.
They are prone to white rust on the aluminum surface when they are used in hot and humid conditions.
